Yes the race season is now on the horizon!, Hopefully all the hard winter training will have paid off and ill have a good racing season.My first race of the season is on Saturday 12th of April at Thetford round one of the NPS cross country mountain bike race series (National Series). I will also do the 50kms enduro event on the sunday.
Over the Easter weekend I planned to race at Bradford but was called off due to snow!, I was pretty gutted as we had travelled all the way and got within 10 minutes of the venue when a mate phoned saying it was called off, It was the first national youth criterium of the season so would of been a good race too see how my training had been going.Never mind thats the great British weather for you.
Went down to Manchester the other day to the velodrome to watch the World Track Cycling Championships, It was the first time i had ever been to the velodrome and my god do the track boys fly round the track!, never seen speed like it!, We saw Chris Hoy crowned the World Sprint Champion. What a cracking night.

Nice to see you have some good races planed … by your track record I think you could win all (or most) of them! It’s great down in Manchester Velodrome, I need to go again, with my zoom lens and get some nice photos!
Ill have to get out back on the wheels when I get my knees fixed too.
